Requirements:
CA LPT License
CPR-American Heart
Drivers License/ID
Resume with 3 references
12 months of experience in the last 3 years (prefers)
Days & hours will vary must be willing to work weekends

Job Duties:
Give basic level of general behavioral and physiatrist nursing care to mentally or developmentally disabled patient-inmates/youth

•Under general supervision perform psychiatric nursing procedures, such as administer medication and treatments, including hypodermic injections, take and chart temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration, and all other basic general nursing procedures within the scope of licensure.

•Conduct daily clinical rounds and monitoring of patient-inmates/youth

•Work with other disciplines as part of Threat Team in the development of treatment plans and objectives from assessments in providing an overall treatment program for patient-inmates/youth

•Assist in the development of group and individual therapy regimens. Act as a provider of group therapy to patient-inmates/youth.

•Observe patient-inmates/youth physical condition and behavior, and report significant changes

•Prepare and coordinate clinical appointment dates and times, and assist in having patient-inmate/youths present at their clinical appointments

•Assist as first responder duties, such as giving CPR and first aid as needed

•Follow completely and accurately all documentation procedures as required by the CDCR/CCHS

•Help create a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for patient-inmates/youths
