High school diploma or equivalent
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
•6 to 10 years experience as a maintenance mechanic
•Certified or experience in areas of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and welding
•Ability to use PC software such as MS Office, Word, Excel
•Ability to track inventories, spare parts, initiate Purchase Orders (PO’s)
•Ability to monitor and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Performs maintenance functions making repairs in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic breakdowns under minimal guidance of the maintenance supervisor. Independent work is expected most of the time.
•In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, can provide guidance and some supervision to lower level mechanics.
•Plans, obtains cost estimates and executes projects under guidance of the maintenance supervisor.
•Troubleshoot and perform maintenance duties such as mechanical and electrical repairs.
•Provide training in areas of expertise or knowledge.
•Respond to work orders submitted by employees.
•Assist supervisor in ordering parts.
•Assist supervisor in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance program.
•Participate and execute actions from the quality improvement program.
•Possess good skills in written and electronic documentation. Able to update forms and procedures.
•Support installation of new equipment and facilities improvements.
•Work safely by observing safety rules, policies, and procedures. Identify unsafe conditions or actions to my supervisor.
•Maintain compliance with company quality systems and support audits.
•Other duties as may be assigned.
•Demonstrated competence at Mechanic 3 and below
•Demonstrated ability to repair facilities relating to the lithography tools under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
