Title: Manager of Intermodal Operations
Location: Toledo, OH
Job Summary: To Provide operational leadership and management for COFC Logistics. Manage the productivity of COFC’s intermodal fleet of 53' containers by controlling costs, monitoring billing processes and maximizing asset utilization.
Job Functions: Provide management and leadership required to ensure satisfactory service to our customers.
Manage a team of customer service and operational focused professionals.
Prioritize the assignment of equipment to customers
Address and resolve problems with loads in transit in a timely manner
Develop strong relationships with customers and vendors and assist them in all operational aspects.
Complete customer and vendor accessorial and/or per diem charges within 24 hours load completion.
Continue to grow and develop the team to meet the demands of our customers.
Manage the productivity and profitability of the intermodal fleet by monitoring equipment availability and street turn within the operating system.
Review and correct orders on hold in the system for invoicing.
Provide timely escalation of issues to management.
Four year degree from an accredited College or University is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of successful intermodal experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to master our operating system.
Need to have a team player attitude and the ability to mentor to lower level employees.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Well-developed analytical and decision making skills.
Salary range of $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience
