We are currently assisting our client, a privately-held, global leader in aluminum processing, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with a Manager of Training and Organizational Development search. This position is responsible for enhancing organizational capability and performance through design and delivery of global training and development. The leader in this role will support corporate and business unit development objectives. This role partners with HR Business Partners to design and implement individual and team development plans and programs.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver and evaluate training and development initiatives
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify performance and capability gaps
  • Manage training and development vendors; evaluate effectiveness and performance
  • Facilitate training and development programs encompassing multiple employee levels and cultures
  • Determine achievement of learning objectives and knowledge transfer supporting continuous improvement
  • Provide instructional design consultation and support for both “off the shelf” and customized training programs
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships via proactive partnering, knowledge sharing, flawless execution and delivering measurable results
  • Manage learning management system and drive upgrades improving global scale, efficiency and effectiveness


Requirements:

  • BA in Business or Human Resources or related discipline; advanced degree in Organizational Behavior, I/O Psychology, HR or related disciple
  • Facilitation of leadership, management, and employee development programs
  • Experience implementing medium to large scale change initiatives
  • Experience launching and sustaining training and development programs
  • Strong business and HR acumen
  • 40% travel: North America, Europe, and Asia
