The Manufacturing Leadership Development Program accelerates the growth and development of early–career, high-potential individuals with the goal of building strong future manufacturing leaders.
The program duration is approximately 3 years, exposing the leader to rotations in various manufacturing functions. Rotation functions will include Engineering, Operations, and Materials Management and will be based in the Nashville, TN; Knoxville, TN; and Florence, SC areas. Each rotation will last approximately 6-12 months. The leader selected for this program will participate in a formal mentoring program as well. At the end of the program, the leader will be assigned to a position within A.O. Smith.
Qualifications • Must be open to relocation in the United States. • Must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business; MBA preferred. • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or better out of 4.0 is required. • Prior manufacturing required (includes internships and co-ops); up to 5 years of experience. • We require strong organizational and project management skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving. • The successful candidate will be collaborative, able to adapt quickly and navigate ambiguity. • Must possess strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, etc…)
