We have an immediate opening in our Solon, OH headquarters for a qualified Manufacturing Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:
Perform duties within the Engineering department where the primary responsibility is to specify, troubleshoot, and design engineering improvements for manufacturing plants and production equipment and systems.
  • Oversee installation and setup of plant equipment, machinery and tooling.
  • Propose and implement improvements in machine design and manufacturing processes to increase quality and efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Design custom machinery, automation, and tooling to meet production requirements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with plant equipment, machinery and tooling.
  • Compile usable and accurate documentation.
  • Accurately prepare and maintain appropriate records.
  • Working knowledge of robotics and servo drives.

    Minimum Requirements:
    • Education:
      • Undergraduate mechanical engineering degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
    • Experience:
      • At least 5 years of related work experience
      • Experience with Plastic Injection molding machinery desirable
      • Experience with assembly machines (mechanical,pneumatic) desirable
      • Design experience of fixtures and automation
    • Skills Required:
      • Modeling proficiency, 2D and 3D
      • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics
      • Knowledge of plastic injection molding and auxiliary equipment
      • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
      • Mechanical aptitude
      • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and written)
