DESCRIPTION:   This Company is a dynamic supplier to retail and consumer markets. The company is a recognized Industry leader that is growing with multiple plant sites.   This company is has a strong reputation for quality and delivery of its product line.  They are seeking a key team player in a position that will be instrumental in scheduling materials and production to ensure on-time delivery to customers. This position will be responsible for efficient planning of hours, material release, maintenance and contingencies (modifications) to fully utilize manufacturing capabilities. The goals being on-time deliveries with minimum inventories and finished goods on hand. This involves coordination with Sales (Sales Forecasts), Production, Procurement and Maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:    The primary responsibility will be to establish a weekly realistic schedule for production of finished goods to meet Sales Forecasts and Sales needs. The company is SAP and this position will have direct report schedulers. You will exhibit good judgement, integrity, ingenuity, and personal professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS:  The Company requires a minimum four-year degree. Minimum 5 years related experience in a food processing operations or a related scheduling Company requires APICS certification (or in process of obtaining APICS).  This position will have direct responsibility for scheduling and support of activities that result in finished product on –time with maximum efficiencies and minimum inventory expense. Qualified candidates will have a strong ability to ensure others follow the Masterplan and set limits to maintain flow and organization. Candidates must be self-motivated with documented management experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to gain the cooperation and confidence of others are required.  The ability to think on your feet and rapidly adjust to changing priorities is necessary.   Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence and trust are essential. Strong documentation skills and reporting skills are required. Food/ beverage experience is strongly preferred.
