Introduction: The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, located midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC is seeking a Mission Analyst. Required Qualifications: BS Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field. Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in the field of Engagement, Mission, or Campaign Level Analysis. Ability to lead small analysis teams. Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Job Summary: Mission Analyst to lead and conduct detailed combat effectiveness analysis studies in a multi-mission warfare environment. Expertise is required in military utility analysis, design of experiments, analysis of alternatives, and simulation development. Major focus is on air-to-air and air-to-surface engagements.

Desired Qualifications: MS, Ph.D. Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. Ten or more years of relevant experience in the field of Engagement, Mission, or Campaign Level Analysis. Experience with Monte Carlo analysis and Design of Experiments techniques.
Special Working Conditions: Air and vehicle travel to U.S. Government and DOD contractor facilities.
Security: Top Secret Clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for an SSBI and access to classified information. Preference for current SSBI. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.
