About the Job

AGA is looking for seasoned B2B New Business Development Executive to join our team develop and cultivate new business. Reporting to our SVP of Business Development, this is a hunter role where you will be responsible for calling on the credit & collection department of B2B corporations in California that have revenues greater than $20 Million .

As an AGA business development executive you are our first line of communication with our prospective customers and the clients you develop.  You goal will be to develop qualified prospects and engage, motivate and develop new business opportunities through a consultative telesales process that drives face to face appointments and web based presentations.  This can be a home office based position that will require local travel 30%+.

We are looking for type A individuals who are enthusiastic, coachable, professional, ethical and competitive. Duties, Responsibilities:

  • Exercise a solutions-focused sales approach
  • Prospect, qualify, cultivate and maintain an active sales funnel
  • Follow a softly scripted sales process to handle gatekeepers, influences and decision makers
  • Consistently make 60+ outbound attempts daily when in the office to contact prospects by either phone or email
  • Open up opportunities, schedule appointments and close new opportunities
  • Manage customer and prospect relationships in Salesforce.com


Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Strong learning aptitude
  • Energetic outgoing personality with a positive can do attitude
  • You must have solid written & oral communication, listening and presentation skills
  • You must have strong prospecting, lead generation abilities and cold calling skills
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Clear understanding sale cycle management
  • Proficiency with computers/internet and MS Office applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient using CRM applications (We use Salesforce.com)
