Description

 

The Times-News has an immediate opening for a qualified candidate to help drive sales efforts for our growing multi-media company.

                                                               

The Online and Marketing Coordinator position will assist the Times-News management team and the sales team with key sales and marketing projects. This position coordinates print, email and online house advertising for the Times-News, assists in coordinating and attending events, and oversees the effective deliver of all online advertising.


This full-time position will work to provide key support to our multi-media sales consultants, production team and management team in providing service to customers before, during and after a purchase of online advertising and digital services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Observing performance of customer accounts and suggesting enhancements to sales reps, working with sales reps to build revenue, building relationships with online advertisers, helping with training sessions, helping with customer requests, proof reading and emailing ad proofs, completing contracts, ticketing ads, data entry, appointment setting, generating proposals and other miscellaneous tasks as needed. Internal marketing responsibilities include writing copy for sales materials, coordinating B2B marketing efforts, tracking and scheduling online advertising, and analyzing results to house advertising. Prior sales and/or online marketing experience a plus. 40-hour workweek Monday-Friday, with scheduling flexibility as business demands.

Qualifications

 

The right person should be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, possess solid customer service and marketing skills and be able to complete projects with minimal supervision. Basic computer knowledge required including: Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; use of CMS a plus.
