We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager dedicated to our Enterprise Mobility Management group. A productive mobile workforce is a strategic business imperative in today's business world. Organizations that do not leverage this emerging trend are at a competitive disadvantage. The benefits of an optimized mobile environment are proven, meaningful to the bottom line and critical for future growth. This is a full time position located at our Richmond, Virginia facility.
As the Business Development and Operations Manager, it will be your responsibility to drive sales, and assist in the development of a growing service delivery team dedicated to our mobility practice. This role will combine sales and business development of our EMM practice, along with contributing to the continuous process improvement related to the operation.
Specific duties will include personally developing prospects, territory plans, opportunity pipelines and forecasts. Must possess an understanding of client’s business environment, key business drivers, tracking changing business trends, and a proven record of targeting and closing mobility focused business within mid-market to Fortune 500 sized customers. Also responsible for building strong customer and vendor relationships.
As the EMM Business Development Manager, you must be a passionate sales leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to deliver in this role with little supervision. You must also be an exceptional communicator who is comfortable interacting with customers, partners, stakeholder and executives. It is important that this role exhibit strong technical and business savvy as well as a firm commitment to customer service.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
· 5-8 years of professional sales experience in IT Managed Services and/or Mobile Device Management and significant experience and knowledge with at least two of the following technologies:
o Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Blackberry, Good for Enterprise, Air Watch, Mobile Iron, etc.
o College degree, preferred
· Experience working with multiple customers, preferred
· Experience in a Managed Service Provider environment, preferred
