Our Ohio based Client seeks an experienced Oracle Business Systems Analyst to join its ERP Program. The Senior Oracle Analyst/Business Systems Analyst will be working as part of their Oracle ERP Program Management team. The position will require minimum travel ( < 15%), and sporadic weekend or off-hour support.
Senior Oracle Analyst/Business Systems Analysts are responsible for participating in applications development, maintenance, and business process enhancement projects, often leading process engineering activities as the technology representative for business users. They provide specialized systems knowledge and contribute to the achievement of business objectives by identifying opportunities for effective use of technology and developing, implementing and supporting solutions on time and on budget. The Senior Oracle Analyst/Business Systems Analyst must provide analytical and technical expertise and be able to clearly understand business requirements, consider options, and design and specify techno-functional solutions demonstrating competency in Oracle Applications and Oracle Technologies.
The Senior Oracle Analyst/Business Systems Analyst must be proficient in translating business requirements into software or technology requirements for application development. This includes performing feasibility studies, translating requirements into an appropriate design, and executing some development activities. Individuals in this job position are competent working at an in-depth technical level while possessing a broad knowledge of various technical areas, business concepts, and acumen. They must be able to propose innovative technical solutions and provide and recommend data integrity solutions when required. They must be able to prepare detailed specifications from which applications will be written, including use case scenarios, swim lane diagrams, and other design deliverables.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
A minimum of 7 years of industry experience with systems analysis and/or solution design and delivery.
At least 5 years of experience with the tools used to support Oracle EBS Applications including development using PL/SQL.
Fully adept at leveraging desktop productivity tools for analyzing, integrating, and presenting Oracle information as necessary.
Oracle EBS R12 experience.
Experience in Oracle EBS functional areas, including configuration of modules such as Financials, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Purchasing, Inventory, Discreet Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Trade Management, MSCA, SCP/ASCP, Supplier Portal, e-Commerce Gateway, Business Intelligence.
Experience with FSG, Workflow, BI Publisher, Oracle Application Framework, JDeveloper with OA extension, Oracle Data Integrator.
Experience generating Use Case models, scenarios, and test cases.
Experience with various project management methodologies or implementation methodologies and concepts.
Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, defect tracking, and release management.
Experience with testing cycles and automated unit testing, load testing, regression testing requirements.
Experience on Oracle administration and instance management principles.
Experience with Linux and Unix-based software management and integration.
SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports, TOAD, FSG, OBIEE.
