Outbound Loan Specialist
As a successful Outbound Loan Specialist you will:
· Solicit new lending business by telephone or other electronic means
· Identify member needs during these interactions and match those with the appropriate Credit Union product and/or service
· Complete loan applications, obtain appropriate documentation, submit for approval, communicate decision to member, and close the loan electronically or refer to the appropriate branch
· Follow the loan process until the loan is complete and the member is pleased with the product and service
The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, some college coursework is preferred. Two to three years of financial institution experience, particularly in the loan process, is required. He/she must be skilled at reading and interpreting credit reports. Experience in a call center environment is a plus.
This is a newly created department and the ideal candidate will be instrumental in establishing procedures and routines for operations. Hours of operation may vary, but candidate should be able to work a few evening and/or Saturday hours each week.
Total compensation includes competitive base pay, monthly incentives, medical, 401K, and life insurance.
