We have an exciting new growth position for a Power Electronics Engineer to develop new power innovations!

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new power electronic products for welding, power cutting.
  • Participate in new research & development projects from concept to market
  • Stay up to date on the latest technologies & solutions in the area of expertise
  • Detailed design including PCB schematics, layout, component selection, firmware development, and integrated testing
  • Support the development of the organization technology roadmap
  • Helps develop the R&D organization during its aggressive growth stages 

Qualifications
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with 5-10 years of experience in power electronics, power systems, and control systems as focus areas
  • PCB board layout design, analog and digital circuit design, component selection, PWM control, Spice simulation, etc.
  • Background with MOSFET, IGBT, &/or IGCT is a strong advantage
  • Experience in designing/manufacturing Welding equipment is a plus
  • Experience in EMC is a plus
  • Demonstrate ability to multi task and prioritize different projects and work load
  • Self-motivated
