Position Summary
This individual is responsible assisting in safety and DOT compliance through driver audits and monitoring. He/she will also be responsible for assisting in training and development of new drivers for the company.
Essential Responsibilities
-Assist in the driver qualification process, such as files and orientations.
-Assist in training, education, and developing drivers.
-Communicate with and maintain positive working relationship with Safety and Operations.
-Assist DOT Manager with ensuring safety compliance with DOT regulations including: driver qualification, equipment compliance, and driver log auditing.
-Act as a liaison between dispatcher and drivers and troubleshoot problems when applicable.
