The Delivery Management Coordinator works within Global Systems Engineering (GSE) organization to coordinate small projects that capture, track, and communicate information related to the activities and needs of the organization.
The GSE group is responsible for engineering and support of the IT infrastructure.
This includes planning, design, evaluation, installation, deployment, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure in the data centers and office facilities.
GSE provides the hardware and a software solution that builds its products upon and the GSE Delivery Management Coordinator supports the organization in managing the requests from internal customers.
The Delivery Management Coordinator is responsible for working on small projects related to hardware and software solutions, and for coordinating within the cross-functional teams to satisfy these requests.
The Delivery Management Coordinator will work under the guidance of the Delivery Management and Cross-Functional Project teams.
The Delivery Management Coordinator will intervene whenever issues arise and will work to resolve the issues so that the request can resume progress. Issue resolution involves gathering required information from customers, chairing meetings between teams and departments, and escalating to managers.
The Delivery Management Coordinator will manage the executive status report for their customer portfolio.
A successful Delivery Management Coordinator is outgoing, motivated, resourceful, tenacious, and organized.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are required.
Must be comfortable facilitating meetings, chasing down information or status, and doing whatever it takes to get requests resolved.
Working knowledge of IT hardware and software is required.
Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in the delivery of medium scale software development, operational and integration efforts.
Excellent verbal, written skills are required. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels.
Ability to understand Business needs related to Infrastructure Service Delivery solutions.
Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation production support, including quality assurance and system integration.
Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices.
Self-motivated; able to work independently while coordinating activities with cross-divisional teams in remote locations.
Team player; able to communicate with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization.
Solid analytical skills; able to think strategically.
