We develop, construct, and operate high quality market-rate and affordable rental properties.  We are a dynamic and growing company that works in conjunction with many financial institutions, partners, and non-profit organizations to pursue the development and financing of real estate properties.  Currently, The NRP Group has assets and operations in Ohio, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Virginia, Arizona, New Mexico, Michigan, and Indiana.

We currently are seeking a Property Management Accountant to manage the accounting & financial functions of a portfolio of multi-family properties. Duties include the transition of the accounting functions of projects under construction into property management, monthly journal entries, accruals, GL account analysis, cash management, month-end closings, reconcile bank statements, financial reporting, assist in year-end audit, communication with site managers, ad hoc projects etc.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant work experience preferably in a public accounting environment
• CPA or working toward certification
• Highly skilled with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced function mastery)
• Solid communication skills
