As a Software Quality Analyst I for Wolters Kluwer (WK) Tax and Accounting (TAA), you will be responsible for designing and delivering key testing components for multi-tier cloud-based solutions with smart clients on the web. You will designs, build, and execute high quality reusable test scripts and coordinates with users to determine requirements. You will review systems under development and related documentation and makes more complex modifications to existing automation modules to fit specialized needs and configurations and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. You may also help coordinate activities of the project team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute, enhance, and support automated and manual unit, system, performance, and load test harnesses and modules.
• Create and validate data using SQL.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Effectively leverage test case management and defect tracking solutions.
• Work on Agile Teams and follow Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.
• Leverage continuous build and automated unit test frameworks.
• Mentor less-experienced staff in their technical development.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Computer Science degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience OR
• 1 year of experience in the software industry as a QA Engineer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the software industry as a QA Analyst and has familiarity with multi-tier solutions.
• Ability to design, create, and execute high quality reusable manual test cases and scripts.
• Experience executing automated unit, system, performance and load test suites.
• Experience delivering high quality products on time while working in Agile Teams and following Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking solutions.
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
