We are a market leading company with a strong, compelling value proposition seeking a top performing, high potential Sales Manager to revolutionize sales for the northeast region. This opportunity is with one of the Northeast region’s leading providers of food and beverage services to colleges, businesses, and the general public through a variety of dining and hospitality operations. It has three divisions - Food Service Management, Restaurants,and Catering, and employs over 1000 people. The company operates in over 120 locations, including eight full-servicerestaurants and a hotel, and provides catering services for countless weddings and other special events.


You will help build and transform the current sales process to a highly energized, sophisticated and world class sales culture. You will lead business development and drive sales through a complex senior level strategic sales process in food service and hospitality.   A top performer will be an extremely passionate, polished business executive with a track record of exceeding sales and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can execute with passion and urgency in creating a strong value proposition which will be differentiating in the market place.

Responsible for the development of new and potential Food Service accounts within the assigned Northeast geographic area.  Creates and implements short- and long-range sales strategies. Develops, implements and achieves targeted new sales goals by orchestration of the sales process including prospect identification, prospect qualification, organization survey and execution, proposal development, proposal delivery and contract negotiation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

·         Sales experience, preferably in selling foodservice, beverages, hospitality or catering services

·         Track record of exceeding sales performance objectives

·         Strong business acumen to include strategic selling skills

·         Experience in creating proposals and presentations with pricing, timelines, forecasts, resource allocation plans, and financial impact




Responsibilities and Duties:

·          Establish new and potential accounts within the assigned
   geographic area, primarily Upstate NY and Massachusetts

·         Utilize technology to effectively help plan and communicate pipeline management process; Salesforce.com experience preferred

·         Identify, develop and qualify prospects through research of prospects, identifying the customer’s objectives, and determining how the Company can meet those objectives

·         Learn and use competitor information on service offerings, organizational strategy, pricing, strengths and weaknesses

·         Negotiate and close contracts with clients

  ·   Coordinate, produce, and execute contract documents
Activate local marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand  
      awareness and maximize brand performance
