About the Job

Looking for a full time Registered Dietician in West Lafayette, IN.

We are currently searching for a full time Registered Dieticianto work in our onsite health clinic located in WestLafayette, IN. !

A Day in the Life:

Counsels individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life.
Receives referrals from in-clinic providers for day-to-day appointments.
Consults with providers to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patient.
Assesses nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling. Conducts food demonstrations.
Advises patients on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
Consults in the development of curriculum and prepares manuals, visual aids, course outlines, and other materials used in teaching.
Plans and conducts training programs in dietetics, nutrition, and institutional management and administration for the client’s general employee population.
Other duties and projects as requested and assigned.

Do you have?

A fully unencumbered Dietitian Registration in the State of Indiana and with the American Dietetic Association is required. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Certified Diabetes Educator certification (CDE) highly preferred. Must be an experienced team player, as this position requires working collaboratively with the clinic staff, the practice manager and the clinical quality team members. This position also requires exceptional customer service, excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills, ability to conduct food demonstrations, and demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks. Must be able to work independently
