Relief Counselor/Direct Care

Pelham Academy, a division of Justice Resource Institute, is a 24-bed 766 approved Behavior Treatment Residential School in Lexington, MA, for girls ages 12-21 years. 

Residential Counselors for relief positions on each shift. Some college education and experience preferred; minimum high school education.  Ideal for recent graduates seeking entrance into the Human Services field.

Requirements: 

• Perform direct care responsibilities within the Residential Milieu.
• Direct supervision of students within the milieu while maintaining the safety and security procedures as outlined by agency and program policy and procedures.
• Lead by example and role model for all staff and students appropriate professional behavior within a residential treatment setting.
• Handle special projects as assigned by the Program Director, or designee.
