Position Description:

AAA - The Automobile Club of Southern California has immediate opportunities for motivated individuals to join our exclusive team of Direct Sales Agent Trainees and Direct Sales Agents. Our Direct Sales Agents engage in providing high quality sales and service to members in an inside sales call center environment. They demonstrate the ability to multi-task and identify cross-sell opportunities regarding member product needs and service requests.

Our extensive training program prepares you to sell Auto Club memberships, auto, homeowners, watercraft, and personal umbrella insurance; and become a licensed insurance agent.

Daily duties include qualifying and quoting prospects, selling all lines of insurance products, following up with members and insured's, and prospecting for new business. You will also be responsible for inspecting related documentation and resolving membership and insurance problems using discretion and independent judgment. Prior insurance industry experience is not required, but a plus.

Position Requirements:
  • Sales experience (preferred but not required)
  • High School Diploma required
  • College Degree is a plus

General Information

Diversity Career Group is a National Recruitment Firm specializing in Sales, Sales Management and Professional Career Fairs.​ We are moving into our 15th Year of producing our unique sit-down interview formatted career fairs for Fortune 500, Nationally Know and Regional Companies.​ Multiple hiring managers will be looking to conduct actual "first interviews" from a wide range of companies for sales and sales related openings in Orange County, Los Angeles and Nationwide.​

Our focused career fairs are open to All Career Seekers looking for a new position in Sales, Sales Management, Retail Management, Sales Support /​ Customer Service and additional Sales related positions.​ 

Most of the Sales Representative, Business to business ( B2B ), Outside Sales, Field Sales and Business Development Positions available at our career fairs require Sales Reps to be responsible for generating revenue and sales by assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services.​  This includes using your skills to establish and maintain accounts through customer relationship management.​   You should be open to some level of cold calls and warm calls to prospect new business as well as grow and maintain an existing account base.​


Company Training, company presentations and additional state of the art sales training are a part of your initial and ongoing growth and career path with in the hiring companies.​


You should be motivated to consistently meet or exceed sales performance objectives including but not limited to:  individual and team revenue/​account base growth, prospecting and product sales and or service sales.​Grow account base by continuous acquisition of new customers within your assigned territory, develop marketing plans, sales presentations and proposals.​ Knowledge and experience using a CRM software (like SalesForce.​com) is helpful but generally not required.​


Retain and penetrate existing accounts though application of professional account management skills, including providing on-going field service and customer assistance.​


In some positions, your business development can be enhanced by establishing a regional presence in your territory and sales areas.​ Suggestions include frequenting established business and merchant associations along with Chamber of Commerce groups to help you develop a rapport in you local business community.​
