Kaeser Compressors, Inc., one of the largest and most successful suppliers of air systems, is looking for an individual who has managed sales representatives in an industrial or manufacturing environment to fill the position as Sales Manager for our Houston, TX location.
The chosen candidate will:
· Supervise Sales Representatives, review all sales quote logs, call reports and itineraries for assigned sales staff.
· Make joint sales calls with Sales Representatives and teach territory management.
· Be responsible for outside Sales Representatives achieving sales goals.
· Be responsible for profitability of all product sales for assigned sales staff.
· Seek new markets for sales of Kaeser Products.
· Be responsible for new product training for all Sales Representatives and office sales personnel.
· Conduct competitive evaluations and product studies.
· Develop sales tools and techniques.
· Develop and participate in trade shows.
· Be responsible for learning and applying SAP Procedures.
The qualified candidate will have:
· High School diploma required, college degree preferred.
· Minimum 5 years’ sales management experience, preferably in the compressed air industry, industrial industry required.
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (Required)
· SAP experience (a strong plus)
· Experience in compressed air technology.
· Valid driver’s license and good driving record (Required).
· Mechanical and technical aptitude
