Vice President/Senior Director...
The Vice President/Senior Director of Client Services position requires a dynamic and experienced person who can direct multiple teams of young professionals to offer the best service in an increasingly competitive global market. Cvent has offices across the globe, so exposure to managing cross-cultural teams will be an added advantage. The Client Services department offers 24x7 customer support and includes over 250 product consultants. The Vice President/Senior Director will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Client Services.
Client Services Team
Our team of over 250 Product Consultants is a close-knit group of dynamic and high-energy professionals, all of whom are college educated. We have people from various educational backgrounds including, but not limited to business, psychology, communications and computer information systems. •Manage multiple teams and ensure metric realization
•Devise and execute performance reports to ensure high level of service
•Coach, mentor, provide feedback and improve the skill set and productivity of the team
•Identify, innovate, and execute business ideas to improve service delivery and improve client retention ratio of the company
•Recruit future team members
•Lead and manage annual and interim budgeting and forecasting cycles
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure company goals are met
•Involvement in appraisal and career planning of employees
•Draw up reports for the analysis of the SVP and senior management
•Bachelor’s degree required
•15+ total years of relevant experience, of which 7+ years should be in a management role
•Should have managed or overseen an operation of 25+ employees
•Managerial skills and prior experience in event planning/event management/software services/travel/tourism/hospitality sector is a plus
•Ability to track key performance metrics and make business decisions
•Ability to identify, model, and implement solutions for business situations and client needs
•Manage communication with internal and external clients
•Leadership skills and traits with a fair understanding of motivation theories
•Very good relationship management skills with a few years experience in this domain
•Very proficient with software packages of Microsoft Office
•Aptitude for data analysis and perform trend analysis
•Very good presentation skills
•Ability to assess effectiveness of training
•Ability to pick up Cvent toolset for meeting planers
•Must be based locally in Cvent's McLean, VA headquarters
