Software Systems Engineer

LOCATION: New Hampshire


POSITION BRIEF: Software Engineer (embedded software systems) to develop advanced electro-optical imaging and sensor systems.



COMPANY INFORMATION:  This position will work with a company that develops military electro-optical systems – including optical sensor systems, infrared and spectral imaging systems, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, high power laser systems, laser communication systems. 


RECRUITER INFORMATION: The Electro-Optics Group is a division of the recruiting firm, The Photonics Group, which recruit engineers nationwide for companies that design and manufacture optical, electro-optic, laser, and imaging systems.



* Work on a team of systems engineers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing engineers to develop electro-optical systems for military programs.

* Lead software development efforts, working specifically on embedded software projects.

* Perform software requirements analysis, software design, architectural development, systems implementation, testing of software systems, integration of software development, and process improvement.

* Assist the company in the development of proposals, designs, products, and product manufacturing.



1) BS degree.

2) US Citizen, with an active or past security clearance.

3) Strong experience developing products in the military electro-optics, radar, and/or electronic systems community.

4) Strong experience with the following: a) military systems development programs, b) technology and product development, c) manufacturing or manufacturability development.
