Duties and Responsibilities:

Support requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.

Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents. Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly. Review all deliverables and provide comments, as necessary, ensuring requirements are being met.

Participate in requirements prioritization.

Develop Test Strategy and Test Plan documents based on high-level business requirements that meet standards defined by the Bureau’s SDLC.

Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on technical requirements and system design documents that are repeatable and have clearly defined expected results.

Develop requirements traceability matrices that document the comprehensive nature of the test cases.

Execute and document test case results to validate application functionality. Support the clients during testing and User Acceptance Testing, assisting the testers and ensuring defects are documented properly.

Automate test case execution using Quick Test Pro.

Support data conversion and migration, including participating in requirements, design and testing of conversion programs. Support data cleanup efforts, assisting end users as necessary

Support production deployment activities and tasks.


Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident who is able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or a related field is required.

A background with 4 to 6 years of experience as a testing specialist or analyst is required.

Analytical skills to understand a project’s scope and approach and then translate that into a testing strategy and a test plan.

Modeling skills to understand requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language, including using modeling languages already established in the development organization.

Ability to translate documented requirements into specific test cases and verification points.

Ability to query databases tables using SQL.


 Desired:

Experience with Salesforce.com platform and cloud technology strongly preferred.

Experience using Hewlett Packard’s Quality Center and Quick Test Pro strongly preferred.

Experience using Borland’s CaliberRM and Serena’s Dimensions CM is preferred.

Active Public Trust Clearance
