The Manufacturing Engineering Manager oversees staff who are responsible for planning, developing, implementing and installing production equipment, processes, tools and methods required to manufacture products. Responsible for budgeting and staffing. Establishes systems, programs, policies and procedures. Compiles and reports on department activities and achievement of goals and objectives to higher level management.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager develops and implements long-term strategies that are in accordance with company goals and objectives. Provides expert advice and counsel to executives on department-related issues, including those with company-wide or external impact.
Supervises Manufacturing Engineers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Manager: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field; five to seven years of manufacturing engineering experience with at least four years in a management capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Senior Manager: In addition to the above, seven to ten years of manufacturing engineering experience with at least five years in a management capacity.
