Lead Digital Engineer

 

Key Responsibilities

Senior Advanced Electrical Engineers research, design, develops and test information digital processing and communication systems.  In addition to defining the requirements necessary for the system architecture and hardware design, these Engineers are responsible for integration of the hardware units and evaluate system performance through simulation and test. This position requires working as a team and interfacing closely with Algorithm Developers and Software Engineers.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of electronic equipment and systems, and the ability to further advance company technology. Expertise required with digital simulation tools, high speed digital design, high speed interfaces, FPGAs, schematic and multilayer PWB design and associated design tools.

 

The Senior Advanced Engineer position requires a Bachelors Degree in a specialized area, field or the equivalent and at least eight (8) to ten (10) years of related work experience. Applicants with a Masters Degree and a minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years of related experience are also eligible.

 

Department of Defense TS/CSI security clearance is required within 24 months of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
