Sr Systems Integrity Engineer

The Cyber Solutions and Integration Department (CSI) Department within SADID, was created to expand strategic relationships and growth opportunities in the front end of the business with a focus on system Anti-Tamper (AT) and Information Assurance (IA) architecture, requirements, design and implementation, as well as Cyber threat awareness, integration of Enterprise Cyber capabilities into IDS franchise programs, Tri-Service Committee and export license Low Observable/Counter Low Observable (LO/CLO) reviews.  CSI is a functional department aligned to all IBTs within IDS, as well as Strategic Architecture and Business Development.  This department aligns with IDSs overall strategy to Extend Branded Solutions Globally.  As a result, embedded into our major strategic programs and key pursuits, is an IA/AT/Cyber component.


The CSI Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives in the areas of System Integrity, Cyber Technologies, and Information Assurance (IA).  Typical responsibilities will require providing technical expertise in a multitude of protection areas, leadership, consultation, guidance, and support on IDS technical initiatives, programs, and Business Development activities (to include solution development, compliance definition, threat and vulnerability determination).


This position can be an E04 or E05 based upon IDS Engineering determination and the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and responsibility requirements for the position.

This Position is Contingent Upon Contract Award.


Specific work site location within Massachusetts will be determined during the interview process.


Required Experience and Qualification:

  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive technical (hands-on) experience related to Systems/Software Engineering architecture, requirements, determination, development, and implementation

  • Experience with Anti-Tamper (AT) Techniques, implementations, and US Government System Security guidelines and provisions.

  • High degree of technical writing experience, in generating technical documents in support of CSI related program and proposal documentation, to include CONOPS, Test Plans, etc.

  • Familiarity with cryptography and cryptographic applications

  • Demonstrated, working knowledge of anti-tamper/systems integrity technologies, methodologies, and policies

  • Experience leading teams and IPTs

  • Experience in using tools and metrics in managing activities

  • High degree of professional acumen associated to working in agile and dynamic customer and program environments.

  • Experience interfacing with senior program and functional management

  • Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues, and provide corrective recommendations

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

  • Ability to create and deliver both informational and technical briefings

  • Experience Mentoring, team building, and teaching technical IA/AT related skills to facilitate knowledge transfer and growth, cross-training and collaboration

  • Experience working collaboratively

  • Requires US Citizenship

  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance


    Highly Desired:

  • Completed training in Anti-Tamper technologies, methodologies, and policies

  • Technical experience in multiple Engineering Disciplines (such as Systems, Software, Hardware, Electrical, Mechanical, etc)

  • Experience working U.S. Government contract proposals as an Anti-Tamper/Systems Integrity subject matter expert

  • Experience Mentoring, team building, and teaching technical IA/AT related skills to facilitate knowledge transfer and growth, cross-training and collaboration

  • Knowledge of Program Protection Plan (PPP) required by DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 5200.39

  • Familiarity with C, C++, Ada

  • Experience with real-time operating systems

  • Experience with COTS secure products

  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Experience developing AT related BOEs.

  • Experience in using DOORs to generate and manage requirements

  • Qualified Six Sigma Specialist


    Required Education:

  • Bachelors of Science degree (BS) in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science; advanced degree(s) preferred
