Survey Instrument Operator

The qualified candidate must have a minimum of two years of field/office experience with a survey and/or engineering firm.  The individual must be able to operate survey field equipment, including conventional Total Stations and GPS, have the ability to extract, understand, and maintain data collected in the field, and adhere to safety procedures and use all personal safety equipment provided or required.

The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have the ability to hold and maintain a valid driver's license.

The ability to operate field e
quipment such as conventional Total Stations and GPS, provide front-end locations and stakeouts as well as provide support to tasks assigned by the Party Chief is critical for this position.  The ideal candidate will also have field experience in all types of surveying, including: boundary, topographic and construction stake-out. The individual will also possess knowledge in data collection, instrument operations and experience with Total Stations, Topcon, and Carlson Data Collection. Knowledge with Trimbles TSCIII a plus.  Working knowledge of Static and RTK GPS desired.
