Role Summary/Purpose
 

We are currently seeking a System Analyst/Software Developer. In this role, you will work with our senior functional experts and system architects to design and develop a software application that will be used to assess the effectiveness of a national traffic incident management (TIM) program.

Essential Responsibilities
 

You will: Design the assessment process of traffic incident management, conduct research on traffic incident management assessment tools, develop functional requirements for the assessment tool, work with our senior staff to design and build the assessment tool, and conduct user acceptance testing.

Qualifications/Requirements
 

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Traffic Operations, Computer Science, IT, Computer Systems, or related technical discipline

 

·         Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in traffic operations, traffic incident management, and intelligent transportation systems

 

·         Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in system development life cycle and using open source tools to design and develop software applications.

 

·         Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
