|Description: Global specialty chemical company is looking to fill a critical sales position in their Polymer Additives Division. In this role you will learn to sell innovative and proprietary products with applications centered around color, clarity, and crystallization of plastics. You will work closely with all product and application development teams. You will become a member of a technology driven organization focused on selling unique products to plastic producers, molders, and specifiers. |Responsibilities: Use your strong technical background and education to sell a broad range of polymer additives to the plastics industry. Sell up & down the supply chain by calling on producers, molders, and specifiers. Sell on a technical and value add level. Products are considered unique and are not commodities. They are typically 'one of a kind' materials with functionality in color, clarity, and crystallization. Maintain and grow all existing accounts. Aggressively prospect for and develop new accounts and business opportunities. Set the sales strategies for accounts in the territory. Communicate progress and needs clearly within the organization. Travel will most likely be 40% overnight.|
|Requirements: 3 years minimum specialty chemical sales experience. Experience working with plastic resins, plastic additives, or colorants, is a plus. Must have a technical degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related science. A strong level of self motivation and excellent communication skills are needed to succeed. Willingness to travel overnight as needed.|
