Program: In 1982, Congress through the Small Business Innovation Development Act, established the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program to foster the involvement of U.S. based small businesses in federal research and development (R&D). The SBIR program is designed to increase the participation of small, high technology firms in the federal R&D endeavor.
Description: Provide support and conduct the day-to-day efforts required. Support Army SBIR PMO efforts to develop a collaborative working environment including, but not necessarily limited to, identifying organizational program requirements, integrating requirements into program implementation tasks and providing support in coordinating program management, communication, and execution of tasks. Provide necessary assistance and support to the accomplishment of the SBIR mission.
Provide support to the Lead Senior Programmer. Provide backup capability to the Senior Programmer and assist with modular code development.
Qualifications: The Junior Software Programmer shall be a professional with a technical degree and at least three (3) years of relevant experience in application development and application architecture. Shall be proficient in the following:
· C Sharp
· Virtual Studio 2008
· SQL Server 2005 and 2008 (not install but maintain code and database admin)
Shall have proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining standard office computer, network, and phone software and hardware. Perform basic computer IT troubleshooting and helpdesk items. Be able to help with switches and routers.
Certs required: Windows Server 2008, DoD 8570 compliant
