Location: You will be based at our Garden Grove CA facility for about most of the training period, with the balance spent at our facility in Bristol RI, Saltillo Mexico, as well as other Company facilities to learn about our products and markets, while you acquire the skills necessary to be a successful technical sales professional. Relocation to either Northern or Southern California is required after completion of the training program, lasting approximately one year.
Interested candidates must be completing BS program in an engineering field. Candidates must also possess a high degree of self-discipline, self-motivation, and enthusiasm. Permanent residency in the United States is necessary. Willingness to relocate to open territories within California is required.
The objective of the Performance Plastics Sales Development Program is to train high potential professionals to solve industry challenges and to advance our position in the industrial sealing industry. The program is designed to give you the tools necessary to be successful - to learn about the seals/plastics industry, our products, and how we go to market. This position offers exposure to all levels of the organization. You will work closely with engineering, customer service, outside sales, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, logistics, and finance teams to solve problems, develop solutions, meet customer requirements and grow sales. Responsibilities will include sales analysis, tracking and forecasting. Work with outside sales and business unit teams to facilitate effective customer support and communication. Capture and maintain customer support and product information and facilitate cross functional teams to develop systemic improvements. Provide technical support to customers and sales teams in conjunction with product managers and application engineers.
