Technical Support Agent (Help Desk) Compensation: $14 - $15 per hour, DOE
National technology company is looking for Technical Support Agents to assist customers and field technicians over the phone and online with technical troubleshooting and training for electronic payment terminal equipment and web-based back-office services. We have multiple, permanent positions based in Savannah, Georgia and Tampa, Florida, with the possibility of working remotely from a home office.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Experience working in a help desk or call center environment • Technical support and troubleshooting experience for mechanical and electronic systems • Technical knowledge of 12v DC systems, such as automotive electrical systems • Experience with disassembly and reassembly of electronic components • Proficient with web-based, hosted solutions and MS Office software • Must pass a criminal background and drug screening
• Experience working with wireless data modems or wireless carrier systems or field technical support • Experience working with solar-charging devices • Experience working with electronic payment devices such as vending machines or transit ticket terminals • Bilingual in English and Spanish desirable
