Territory Manager

About the Job

The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for maximizing and growing revenue and profits within his/her assigned territory by acquiring new business and growing existing customers.  The TM will employ a consultative sales approach where the prospect/customer needs are the basis for the sales dialogue.

 

·         Responsible for margin targets of each account within the assigned territory

·         Identifies and pursues new customer acquisition opportunities in assigned territory

·         Promotes and sells ScooterBug Guest Mobility Solutions to prospective and existing customers through a relationship-based, consultative sales approach

·         Creates and executes a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds stated revenue and profit targets

·         Champions ScooterBug’s value proposition and brand in assigned territory

·         Conducts cold calls (telephone and in-person) to acquire new customers

·         Analyzes the territory/market potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization

·         Researches sources for developing prospective customers to determine their potential

·         Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers

·         Develop and present proposals to potential customers

·         Create financial models to analyze business potential (opportunity)

·         Analyze rental data at each account and seek out ways to improve or enhance the business and revenue

·         Work with service operations team to ensure costs are at or below budgeted levels

·         Delivers clear and effective webinars

·         Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer/prospect needs, competitive activities and potential for new products and services

·         Participates in trade shows and conventions as required

 

Requirements:

 

·         5 years progressive work experience in account/business relationship management

·         Customer service / relationship management experience preferred

·         BS/BA in business or business discipline

·         Must be proficient in Word and Excel

·         Ability to work with people up and down the organizational chain and an effective  communicator, both orally and in written form

·         Good time management skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

      ·         Ability to travel as required
