Title: Tool Crib Implementation and Support Manager
Reports to: National Engineered Solutions Manager
BlackHawk Industrial, Cleveland Division, exempt salaried position, generally a 40 to 50 hour week standard. Some unpaid overtime will be required as necessary. Overnight travel required on occasion, including weekends.
The Tool Crib Implementation and SupportManager position is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing client implementations according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members, customer contacts, and other parties according to plan. This person will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. The marketing, design, installation, service and support of all systems customers, both software and hardware, at customer sites is the main objective. Fulfill backup duties for National Engineered Solutions Manager as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Provide sales support in order to market solutions, evaluate customer sites, make recommendations and quote systems.
Ø Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade inventory management solutions for all hardware and software components at customer locations.
Ø Perform trouble shooting problem solving as needed.
Ø Provide oversight for the mechanical and software features of vending and other inventory management solutions.
Ø Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support overall business goals.
Ø Develop complete project plans and associated communications documents.
Ø Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in timely and clear fashion.
Ø Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations, including the design and implementation of custom reports as needed
Ø Plan and schedule project timelines and continually manage project expectations with team.
Ø Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Ø Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Ø Conduct post implementation meetings and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Ø Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Ø Build and develop any business relationships vital to the success of the project (on-going).
Ø Train employees and customers involved in all aspects of the installed system.
Ø 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
Ø Technical or Associated degree in a computer related field.
Ø Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ø Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Ø Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Ø Flexible during times of change, including the ability and willingness to travel.
Ø High level of proficiency on the applications and procedures used, including software and hardware, specifically AutoCrib, CribMaster and other inventory management systems.
Ø Some proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word are necessary.
Ø Ability to train and develop customer staff to perform support functions and execute trouble shooting measures.
Ø High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ø Mechanical aptitude and product knowledge are preferable.
Ø Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.
Ø Knowledge of Window’s networking
Ø Basic understanding of products to be managed and inventory management systems preferred.
Ø Previous consulting or customer service experience preferred.
Ø Strong computer hardware knowledge required.
Directly supervises other BlackHawk Industrial staff and Tool Crib Implementation Teamwhen they are assisting on a project regionally. Supervise and direct on-site staff as necessary as well as the regional Engineered Solutions Specialist.

Software certifications preferred
Employee is regularly required to speak and hear English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _50_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.Travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with customers, stakeholders, or off-site personnel.
Eye protection, hearing protection, foot protection, and head protection, as required by customer.
This position falls under the general industry category of OSHA standards. Employee is expected to adhere to all company safety standards to mitigate potential risks of injury in their workspace.
Ø Starting Salary to be determined. Bonuses may be available, not guaranteed, and will be based on performance and are at the discretion of the BlackHawk National Engineered Solutions Manager.
