This company is working on next generation video compression technology that will change how the internet uses video.

Job Responsibilities:
-          Developing video compression algorithms
-          Modeling, architecture and performance enhancements.
-          Collaborating with the Software, Hardware, and Systems teams on architecture, video quality, modeling, and debugging/verification.  
-          Coordinating project activities within the group
-          Performing independent research
-          Ownership of specific design areas.
Required Qualifications:
-          M.S. or PhD in CS, CE, or EE
-          Experience developing algorithms for video compression systems
-          Quick learner and team player with ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
-          Solid programming, problem solving and debugging skills
-          Experience with standard compression schemes, including AVC / HEVC / MPEG-2
-          Experience with video quality optimization for digital video compression systems
-          Experience programming in C/C++ for image/video processing

Nice to have:
-          Experience with video compression related software on ARM and MIPS based cores or DSPs used in multiple SOC ICs typically found in consumer products
-          Experience with H.264 as well as H.265
-          Experience with signal processing, including audio/video processing and/or rate control
-          Experience in HLS, Verilog/VHDL, SystemVerilog, SystemC, and Perl/Python
