We are a Great Lakes Publishing Company that publishes Cleveland Magazine, Inside Business Magazine, Ohio Magazine and many other custom publications. We have an opening within the Ripple Effect Interactive Division. We focus on creating flexible, integrated interactive solutions that seamlessly blend research, design, marketing and technology. We build powerful websites across a broad spectrum of clients, including corporate, events and marketing, ecommerce, entertainment, travel and leisure. We focus on a thorough discovery process, usability, and development creating great designs and unique interactive user experiences for visitors of all kinds.

Our services include: Online Branding, Market Research, Competitive Analysis, Consumer insight Research, User experience design, WebDesign and Development, Content development, Social Media Marketing and Integration, Content Management Systems (CMS), Web Analytics and Optimization,
Search engine marketing (SEM)

This division is looking for an outstanding front end web developer who has the desire
and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible, team-oriented environment that also works closely with Cleveland Magazine, Ohio Magazine, Inside Business Magazine and other custom publications.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The Web Developer is responsible for the development of websites, developing, testing and delivering quality solutions, they will have the opportunity to set department standards and be an impact player leading new technology capabilities for the interactive team. The developer will have the ability to create web applications from the requirements stage through production deployment.

 

Flexibility, adaptability, collaboration and the ability to learn quickly in various technical environments, while delivering quality work on tight deadlines, imagination, creativity, patience, attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication skills are key attributes.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Minimum of 2-4 years of web development experience is required.

·         Solid understanding of UI/IA.

·         Front-end development experience.

·         Experience in development of HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, knowledge of
C# and the .NET architecture
, PHP (preferred not required).

·         Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a must: Photoshop, Illustrator, and
Dreamweaver. Proficiency with Microsoft Office,
a plus but not required.

·         BS / BA university degree a plus but not required.

·         Desire and passion to keep a breast of new and emerging technologies.
