Description
Founded in 1996, this company is one of the fastest growing credit card merchant account acquirers in the nation. They've quickly become a leader in the merchant bankcard business by providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to merchants who need to accept credit cards for the payment of their goods and services.
We are looking for a strong Web/Mobile User Interface/User Experience Designer. You will be working with various stakeholders and development to create wireframes, mock-ups, graphics, and user interface flow. You will be working with developers to desgin user interfaces and setting the user interface guidelines. You will also need mobile device experience (e.g. iPhone, iPad, Android). You will also need to provide a portfolio of your work to demonstrate your expertise.
As the payments industry moves away from terminals and point-of-sale fixed locations, we want someone who grew up in the mobile generation, lives and breathes mobile apps, and can bring TO US a fresh new way of envisioning how the process of interacting between customers and merchants works. It is true, a part of their job will be to help us design our “today” web screens that keep the store open and the current/older merchants functional… but leadership is looking to catch the wave of mobile transformation in the industry, and we want to get into that space as fast and as effectively as possible. We are bringing them in EARLY in the development cycle so they can help set direction, do market research, and give us time to shift targets if they come up with a really stellar approach.
As Lead UI/UX designer, you will guide the team to make use of best practices and trends in the industry, knowing not only what is typically used in Web or Apple or Android apps, and their usability guidelines, but why, and which principles we want to emulate and which to disregard.
