Overall responsibility for achieving departmental objectives in areas of safety, quality, manufacturing productivity efficiencies, and cost.

Coordinates, directs and monitors the work of 20 or more subordinate personnel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Working knowledge of computers and application software Excel, MS Word, MS Windows required. Knowledge of Oracle preferred. Respond and communicate through e-mail.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Certified Welder a plus.
