Wholesale Inside Sales Manager
Wholesale Distributor seeks Inside Sales Manager (Marina del Rey, CA).
We are seeking a seasoned professional with strong managerial and training skills to join our company located in Marina del Rey, CA. The business is the industry leader wholesale distributor and online retailer of herbal vaporizers and accessories. Other products we sell include tobacco-free herbal cigarettes, cleansing products and related "head shop - smoke shop" type products.
The Company operates in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a commitment to providing distinct and superior customer service. We are looking for a top performer who is able to manage, coach and train an inside sales staff toward setting and exceeding sales goals.
We are looking for someone who understands the process associated with telephone sales and customer service associated with a soft sale versus a hard sale. This position requires a balance between selling, service, and building long term relationships with our customers (stores) to ensure repeat purchases and develop and support the growth and advancement of the sales team. This individual must have expertise in leading and motivating a Sales Reps and ensuring that the team is well versed with product information. The position requires that the Sales Manager use and evaluate CRM lead, account and call metrics information to improve and maintain high levels of lead conversions and oversee ongoing account sales and task management. The Sales Manager will provide continual coaching, feedback, and reinforcement to Sales Representatives.
This position requires an individual who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the work. Applicant must have a history of increasing sales through effective management, training, planning, and development of a sales team. The position requires an individual to be an out of the box thinker who is continuously looking for ways to increase sales and promote our products. The ideal individual will be able to quickly learn the products, develop training materials and processes/systems while directing the team to achieve sales goals. The qualified applicant must know how to motivate Sales Team and be willing to engage in customer sales calls as well for house accounts and for training purposes.

This individual must possess the following Technical Skills:
• Must be proficient in MS Office Programs
• MS Excel (create and use spreadsheet utilizing formulas)
• SUBSTANTIAL experience using CRM
• Superior phone and written-verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to develop others’ strengths and enhance employee performance
Educational Background and Work experience requirements:
• Bachelor degree or experience equivalent
• 5+ years of prior supervisory experience as a Sales Manager
• Must be enthusiastic, energetic and responsive
• Familiarity with the smoke shop/head shop industry a major plus.
Compensation is performance with a guaranteed minimum of $65,000.00 with room for substantial growth (expect to earn in excess of $100,000 within 90 days) .
