Job Summary: To provide responsible and professional social services and/or clinical treatment to clients and families consistent with the mission and goals of assigned program(s) areas; to provide counseling to individual clients and their families; to coordinate and participate in the development and implementation of various treatment plans and outreach services; to direct team activities toward client goal achievement; to meet established administrative requirements and billing goals; to actively participate as a team leader and member in a positive, cooperative and productive manner.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have excellent organizational, analytical, communications, and counseling skills. Must be able to influence people in a positive manner, prioritize responsibilities, and build rapport with a wide variety of individuals. Incumbent must have the ability to meet the professional standards and requirements for assigned duties and responsibilities which includes a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with major course work in social work, psychology, and counseling or a closely related field plus, at least four (4) year full-time experience in providing mental health services/social services case management or counseling. Must meet MHRS qualifications.
