We develop, construct, and operate high quality market-rate and affordable rental properties. We are a dynamic and growing company that works in conjunction with many financial institutions, partners, and non-profit organizations to pursue the development and financing of real estate properties. Currently, The NRP Group has assets and operations in Ohio, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Virginia, Arizona, New Mexico, Michigan, and Indiana.
We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Property Management Yardi Administrator to work closely with the property managers, regional managers/regional vice presidents, compliance specialists, business solutions team, and accountants. He or she configures, troubleshoots, and trains on the software tools necessary to effectively manage residential and affordable properties.
Primary Responsibilities – System Administration
• Partner with the Business Solutions team to configure and troubleshoot Yardi Voyager • Monitor and respond to operational support requests regarding Yardi software • Research and test new tools in Yardi Voyager • Work closely with the compliance department to ensure data is accurately entered and updated • Input all new users, properties, security permissions and menu sets into the software • Partner with business leaders to resolve technical issues, create new reporting tools, and develop more efficient workflows • Record and analyze common user errors and identifies potential training needs
Primary Responsibilities – Technology Trainer
• Design and deliver training programs on the technology used by field and corporate employees • Schedule and organize training events including new hire and refresher trainings • Serve as a technical writer creating documentation on policies and procedures related to Yardi Property Management software • Work with property managers regularly to identify training requests and offer one-on-one support in person or over the web • Evaluate and communicate the success of implemented training programs and tools
• Bachelor’s degree, along with 2+ years' of work experience performing analytical, report writing, or database management functions. Yardi Voyager experience is required • Multifamily property management experience strongly preferred • Experience working in software support and system administration • Experience with technology training including the design of training materials and programs • General knowledge of financial/accounting concepts • Good problem solving and analytical skills • Strong verbal and written skills • Positive, forward thinking • Strong organizational skills • Detail oriented • Ability to interpret information and formulate appropriate course of action • Ability to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly and relate to existing business procedures and processes • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments and meet deadlines • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Ability to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to meet requirements of position • Comfort traveling approximately 15% - 20% of the time
